Pour sa thèse consacrée à Alzheimer, Mia Medina filme Deborah Logan, atteinte de la maladie, ainsi que sa fille qui s'occupe d'elle. Très vite, d'étranges événements se produisent : Deborah se réveille la nuit et procède à d'étranges rites. Petit à petit, l'équipe en vient à se demander si Alzheimer est vraiment responsable de ces événements ou si un esprit maléfique n'en serait pas la cause. Produit par Bryan Singer ("Usual Suspects") et incroyablement interprété par Jill Larson dans le rôle-titre, ce film a été classé par le site Audience Everywhere comme l'un des 50 meilleurs films d'horreur du XXIe siècle.
