12/12 I am officially qualified to stand

12/12 I am officially qualified to stand Engineering Officer of the Watch, supervising all activities of a Nuclear Propulision Plant on a Submarine at Sea and it only took a month and a half! Now I can chill out for the rest of this patrol and come back home having successfully completed everything I was sent out here to do.

Here are my top ten reasons why being on land in Washington is better than being underwater anywhere.

10) I can't see the sun either way, but at least on land there is fresh air

Hello All,
Yesterday was thanksgiving, and for the most part it wasn't completely terrible. I got some rest, and had a pretty decent dinner. The cooks brought on some real Turkeys in Hawaii, and cooked them up for us. They also made some delicious mashed potatoes and gravy. The only part of the meal that was really lacking, was the stuffing. This is unfortunate because, for those of you who know, stuffing is my favorite part of the meal. I'll spot them the stuffing though, since everything else was good. They also had Egg Nog, of which I had 3 full glasses, and felt extremely sick afterwards
